Aquamarine does not have one universal price per carat, and an aquamarine ring does not have one useful permanent budget tier. The answer changes with what you are pricing: a loose stone, a ring's displayed starting configuration, or the total after metal, size and other options.
For a finished ring, compare the center stone, metal, side stones, setting, dimensions, treatment disclosure, documents and order terms together. A low price does not prove the gem is fake. A high price does not prove it is natural, untreated, well cut or fairly described.
Aquamarine Cost: Quick Answer
There is no defensible single aquamarine price without a defined sample. For a loose stone, identity, treatment, color, clarity, cut, dimensions, carat weight, condition and document scope all matter. For a finished ring, add metal, side stones, structure, labor, ring size, paid options and order terms.
On August 31, 2026, a reproducible public audit matched 155 products in Clorosea's Aquamarine Ring collection to 155 public option sets. The returned starting configurations ranged from $260 to $1,623 USD before paid size, engraving, rush service, tax, shipping, promotions and other possible effects. This describes one current catalog, not aquamarine jewelry everywhere.

Start With the Right Price Question
| Price question | What the number may include | What it does not establish by itself |
|---|---|---|
| Loose aquamarine price | one unmounted stone and a seller's disclosure package | finished metal, side stones, setting labor, ring size or order terms |
| Displayed ring price | one listed starting configuration | your selected metal, paid size, engraving, rush, tax, shipping or checkout effects |
| Configured ring total | the options selected on that product at that moment | future price, appraisal, resale value or whether every policy applies |
| Appraisal value | the appraiser's stated purpose, assumptions and method | guaranteed resale price or what another buyer will pay |
Do not multiply a loose-stone price-per-carat estimate by a center weight and call the result the ring's fair price. The center may be only one part of the finished cost, and its identity, treatment or quality may not match the reference sample.
What Changes an Aquamarine Stone's Value?
GIA's aquamarine overview describes color, clarity, cut and carat weight as quality factors. Its aquamarine buyer's guide also cautions that seller labels such as AAA, AA and A are not a standardized aquamarine grading scale.
Identity and treatment
Natural aquamarine, laboratory-grown aquamarine, imitation material and another blue gemstone belong in different comparison groups. Treatment may affect disclosure, care and value. Establish the category in writing before comparing two prices.
If the identity itself is uncertain, use the aquamarine authenticity evidence ladder. Color, sparkle, a photograph or a bargain price cannot identify a stone safely.
Color and clarity
Market preference often favors attractive blue to slightly greenish-blue color with enough saturation to remain visible. A buyer may sincerely prefer a paler stone, but a fair comparison still needs similarly lit images and a clear statement about whether each image shows the exact stone.
Faceted aquamarine is often expected to look transparent. Eye-visible inclusions, haze, fractures, abrasions or surface-reaching features may change appearance, durability and price. “Eye clean” is useful only when the viewing distance and lighting are understood.
Cut and visible dimensions
Cut controls brightness, windowing, dark areas, symmetry and face-up size. Compare length × width × depth in millimeters as well as carat weight. A deep stone can hide weight below the setting without creating the visible footprint a buyer expects.
The aquamarine-versus-sapphire guide shows why equal carat weight is not a controlled visible-size comparison across different gemstone materials.
Size, condition and document scope
A larger carat number is not automatically more valuable. Size contributes most when the stone also has desirable color, transparency, cut and condition. A smaller, better-performing stone can cost more than a larger pale, damaged or poorly cut one.
Ask what each document actually is, who issued it and which claims it supports. A laboratory identification report, seller specification, warranty and appraisal serve different purposes. Clorosea's current certificate, jewelry and metal guide explains that documentation and hallmark availability can vary by product and selected option.
What Changes a Finished Aquamarine Ring's Total?
Use this equation:
center stone + metal + side stones + setting and labor + ring size + paid options + applicable order terms = configured ring total
| Component | Comparison detail |
|---|---|
| Center stone | identity, treatment, dimensions, weight, color, cut, clarity, condition and exact-image status |
| Metal | alloy, purity, color, plating if any and current option price |
| Side stones | material, quantity, dimensions or weight, treatment and setting method |
| Structure | band, solitaire, halo, cluster, three-stone, bridal set, hidden details and labor complexity |
| Ring size | included range, paid sizes and resize limitations |
| Options | engraving, rush, custom stone, changed band or other add-ons |
| Terms | return or custom status, resize, repair, warranty exclusions and shipping responsibility |
The collection card may show only the first term available to the page. Select the actual metal and ring size before comparing it with another ring.

Current Clorosea Aquamarine Ring Price Snapshot
On August 31, 2026, a public-GET audit matched 155 Aquamarine Ring collection products to 155 public option sets with no missing mappings. The table combines each product's minimum publicly returned base price with the recorded addition for the named material. It does not place anything in a cart or test checkout-only logic.
| Current public configuration | Products | Observed range |
|---|---|---|
| Sterling Silver / 925 Sterling Silver starting configuration | 155 | $260–$1,623 |
| 10K Gold / 10K Solid Gold | 155 | $446–$2,577 |
| 14K Gold / 14K Solid Gold | 155 | $585–$3,292 |
| 18K Gold / 18K Solid Gold | 155 | $678–$3,769 |
| Platinum (Silvery Only) | 155 | $678–$3,769 |
How the snapshot was produced
The audit read the current public Aquamarine Ring collection, the product-to-option assignments and each public option set. It then combined the minimum returned product price with the material addition attached to the same product. One listing used 925 Sterling Silver and Solid Gold wording while the other 154 used the shorter labels; equivalent metal families were grouped in the table.
The audit also observed that material additions vary by design, so there is no single storewide 10K, 14K or 18K surcharge. Paid ring sizes, engraving and rush fields were present in the option data, but the table intentionally excludes them.
What the snapshot does not prove
- It is not a loose natural-aquamarine price-per-carat study or a market average.
- It does not separate the center stone, metal, side stones, labor or service cost inside the base price.
- It excludes paid ring sizes, engraving, rush, tax, shipping, promotions, checkout logic and later changes.
- It does not prove inventory depth, sales volume, delivery performance, appraisal or resale value.
- The identical 18K and Platinum range reflects the public configuration returned on the capture date; it should not be interpreted as equal underlying cost.
- Main Stone option prices were blank in the public option data, which is not proof that a stone change is free or available.

Why This Is Not an Aquamarine Price-per-Carat Chart
The 155-product snapshot cannot be divided by a center-stone carat label to produce a valid gemstone market table. Each listing can differ in identity, treatment, dimensions, side stones, metal, setting labor and option structure. Some ring prices may be driven more by the finished design than by the center.
A defensible loose-stone study would need a capture date, currency and market; a named seller sample; separate natural and laboratory-grown groups; consistent treatment, color, clarity, cut and size bands; exact versus representative image status; asking-price versus completed-sale distinction; duplicate removal; and a published method for outliers.
Without those controls, a neat $X–$Y per carat answer creates false precision. Use an individual quote only for the stone it actually describes.
How to Compare Two Ring Prices Fairly
Copy both offers into one worksheet:
| Field | Ring A | Ring B |
|---|---|---|
| Capture date and currency | ||
| Center identity and natural or laboratory-grown category | ||
| Treatment disclosure | ||
| Center carat and length × width × depth | ||
| Exact-stone image or representative design | ||
| Metal, purity, color and selected ring size | ||
| Side-stone identity, quantity and total | ||
| Setting and included band or bands | ||
| Engraving, rush or custom charges | ||
| Tax and shipping included? | ||
| Return or custom status | ||
| Resize, repair and warranty scope | ||
| Final configured total |
If a row is unknown, do not invent an answer. Ask for a written specification or mark the comparison incomplete.
Why One Aquamarine Ring Costs More—or Less
A higher total may reflect a more desirable combination of center color, transparency, cut and size; a different identity or treatment status; a heavier or higher-priced metal choice; more side stones; a complex setting or matched band; paid size, engraving, rush or custom work; or service whose scope is clearly stated.
A lower total can also have legitimate causes: a simpler structure, lower-cost metal, smaller or paler center, laboratory-grown material, fewer side stones, standardized production or a temporary promotion.
The warning sign is not the number alone. It is missing or conflicting information: no material category, omitted treatment, stock imagery presented as the exact stone, missing dimensions, an unexplained document, or terms that change between the product page and checkout.
The FTC's gemstone advertising guidance explains the importance of truthful material descriptions and relevant treatment disclosures. Accurate disclosure makes a low or high price more comparable; vague disclosure does not.
Is Aquamarine Good Value?
Value is the relationship between what the wearer wants, what the seller discloses and what the complete ring delivers. An aquamarine ring can be good value when the wearer prefers its actual color, the dimensions and structure suit the hand, identity and treatment are clear, the configured total is competitive with genuinely comparable rings, and the order terms fit the size and deadline.
That is practical value, not a guarantee that aquamarine is right for everyone. Check the daily-wear suitability guide and the hardness and durability guide before paying more for a design the wearer cannot realistically maintain.
For a proposal ring, the aquamarine engagement ring guide adds side-profile protection, wedding-band fit, sizing, timing and order checks that a price table cannot answer.
Is an Aquamarine Ring an Investment?
Ordinary retail jewelry should not be presented as a guaranteed financial asset. A future buyer may value the stone, metal, craftsmanship, condition, documentation and design differently from the original retailer. Retail markup, customization and service do not necessarily return in a resale transaction.
Buy for wear, color, design and meaning. If financial valuation matters, obtain independent advice for that purpose and keep the original specification, invoice, treatment disclosure and any applicable report.
Questions to Ask Before Paying
- What exactly is the center stone, and is it natural, laboratory-grown or an imitation?
- What treatment is known or represented, and does it change care or value?
- What are its carat weight and length × width × depth?
- Do the photos and video show the exact delivered stone?
- What metal, purity, ring size and side stones are included in this total?
- Which options add cost, and are production and shipping estimates separate?
- What document accompanies the ring, who issued it and what does it establish?
- Is this configuration standard, custom or final sale?
- What are the actual return, resize, repair and warranty terms?
- What is the final configured total in the payment currency today?
Build the Price Around the Ring You Can Describe
The most useful price is not the lowest or highest number. It is a current total attached to a clearly described stone, ring and set of order terms.

Aquamarine Price FAQ
How much does an aquamarine ring cost?
It depends on the complete configuration. In Clorosea's August 31, 2026 public snapshot, starting configurations across 155 collection products ranged from $260 to $1,623 USD. Selected metal and paid options can raise the total. Recalculate the live product before ordering.
How much is aquamarine worth per carat?
There is no universal rate. A useful per-carat reference must separate identity, treatment, color, clarity, cut, size, market, date and seller sample. The finished-ring snapshot in this guide is not a loose-stone study.
Is cheap aquamarine fake?
Not necessarily. Price can be lower because of identity, color, size, cut, metal, setting, production or promotion. Confirm material and treatment in writing instead of diagnosing from price.
Does a larger aquamarine always cost more?
No. Size contributes alongside color, transparency, cut, condition and treatment. Compare millimeters and visible performance, not carat alone.
Why does the selected metal change the price so much?
Metal type, amount and design structure can change material and production cost. Current Clorosea additions also vary by product, so use the exact option selector rather than a universal surcharge.
Is the displayed collection price the final total?
Not always. Metal, ring size, engraving, rush, tax, shipping, promotions and other configuration effects may change the amount. Review the selected product and checkout details.
Is aquamarine a good investment?
Do not assume guaranteed appreciation or resale. Evaluate it primarily as jewelry and obtain purpose-specific independent valuation advice when financial value matters.
